It’s around this time of the year that I get a little antsy and want to change up the blog. And so I am going to do just that. Before I get underway I wanted to inform everyone about the changes and a couple of other upcoming things.
So like I said I am about to change things up on the blog, with a new theme and a new layout. In order to do so I am going to actually take the blog offline for a couple of days… So if you come to visit the site in the near future and it appears locked or down, don’t panic! We will be back soon with a whole new look. My goal is the make the site more logical and easier to navigate. We won’t have the site offline for more than three or four days!
When we come back we will be introducing our Patreon account. Patreon is a website that helps support bloggers, artists, musicians, videographers, podcasters, you name it. Our hope is that by being on Patreon we will be able to grow and expand Tandem Trekking. We are looking forward to creating more videos and podcasts in the future, making Tandem Trekking a multimedia experience! Patreon will help us do that. We hope that you will consider joining us on Patreon when we introduce it, there are some very exciting opportunities available for patrons.
We hear many of you when you say that reading our blog posts and looking at our photos allows you to live vicariously! We want to take that to a whole new level. As one of our followers and potential future patrons of this blog we want to hand the reins over to you every once in a while and let you make the decisions. More to come on that on the other side, but I am excited to continue to create opportunities and experiences for you to live vicariously through.
This winter has been a little slow in terms of adventures (except for that week long trip we took to Mexico). That is all about to change. Coming up this spring Kyle and I will be instructing for Boealps, which means we will be out climbing every weekend! Many photos and stories will be coming your way from those climbing experiences. We will also be taking a white water river rafting class this spring (in March actually) which will probably be very cold but hopefully awesome. We are thrilled to be learning a completely new skill and can’t wait to share it with you.
So stay tuned, there are exciting things in our future and in yours.
