Episode One: Trail Fever

We are please to present the first episode of our podcast.  In this episode we introduce ourselves and share with you the story of our first thru hike on the Appalachian Trail.  We figured there was no better place to start than with the trail that started it all.  You can also listen to the podcast on our SoundCloud account.  We hope you enjoy and keep coming back for more.

  1. Honestly. This is the best most entertaining podcast I’ve ever listened to on hiking and l’ve listened to a bunch. Can’t wait to hear the next ones. Keep it up!

  2. Omg. This is adorable. Good job you guys! Good volume balance (a lot of podcasts struggle with that!), bomb music, I love the marital strife.

  3. Excellent job, guys. I love it! Can’t wait for that post about the technology you’re using out there to produce this. And how much it all weighs, too… 😉

    1. Haha it is scary. I’m a seasonal employee anyway though so I am constantly looking for new jobs. I think, as a millennial in the US, being unemployed and trying to find work is a pretty normal thing. Although I haven’t had to use it yet I have a pretty solid safety net and a lot to be thankful for.

      1. We can take the occasional sabbatical where we take 6 months off work to do something like your hikes and then come back to work. I suppose it’s a bit like being pregnant and taking childcare off. But you can only really do it once at any company (not be pregnant, take a sabbatical)…
